My name is JoLee Scott. I am a Masters level Counselor. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University in 2013. I then received my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University.
In addition to my academic training, I have an immense amount of life experience that I carry with me. This personal knowledge aids my ability to see clients through a very broad lens, understanding that every person on this earth has their very own journey and understanding about life and themselves. There is no “one right way” to do life, and I am privileged to meet with clients and view life through their lens.
I have found that there are a great deal of hurting relationships out there and therefore, I have a strong desire to aid those couples in their journey towards a better life, irrespective of their race, nationality, economic status, gender, or personal identification. I believe in considering the whole person when I meet with clients. That means I work for the client's awareness of their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs and desires.
I am dedicated to helping all persons navigate life’s challenges. I work to create a safe atmosphere where all can feel secure and free. Through this work, my client’s begin the process of gaining a life that works best for them and those around them.
