Specializing in high conflict/narcissistic relationships and recovery and relationship coaching.
I hold a Masters Level License for the state of Oregon in mental health. However, what sets me apart is that I have an immense amount of life experience that informs my work. Domestic violence, emotional and mental abuse, divorce, raising children with special needs, dating after divorce, parenting, interpersonal relationships, family of origin issues that impact life today...these are a few of the personal and professional issues I help people navigate. All of this knowledge aids in my ability to understand clients through a very broad lens, appreciating that every person has their own journey and expert knowledge about their life and themselves. And, I acknowledge that there is no one right way to do life and I feel privileged to join all clients, regardless of race, nationality, economic status, gender, or sexual identification, on their journey and see life through their framework. I also believe in treating the whole person by encouraging clients toward mindfulness of their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs.
I am dedicated to serving people from all walks of life from a non-judgmental and authentic place and to respect their specific life challenges as well as their innate strengths and values. I intentionally and purposefully create a safe atmosphere where all can feel secure and free. Through this gateway, my clients can begin the process of gaining a life that works best for them, a life that they deserve, in turn improving the lives of those around them.
I am a very direct and relational coach and counselor. And coaching and counseling are different things. For the purposes of healing with therapy, I use many different types of interventions to meet every individuals needs. I am eclectic and rely on variety of different modalities such as Narrative Therapy, CBT, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness. And with coaching I employ my same care and interest in others to help individuals learn new ways to move forward and meet their relational or personal goals.
